BIOGRAPHY German born Markus Hagenbuchner received a Bachelor (Hns) degree in Computer Science at the University of Wollongong, Australia in 1997. He worked as a research assistant at the Department of Artificial Neural Computing at the Univerity of Ulm, Germany from 1997 to 1998. He returned to the University of Wollongong in 1998 and received a Ph.D. degree in Informatics in 2002. Markus is currently working as a senior research associate at the University of Wollongong, Australia. His research interest are in particular Neural Networks, processing and classification of structural data, Internet applications, and data mining.
