Link to the main page about the NSW ANZIAM branch.
Some evidence was found suggesting that the Sydney branch of ANZIAM did not organise any activities in the period 1990-1992, 1994-1995, nor in 1999. The branch organised two activities in 1993. No evidence was found concerning the activities of the branch in the period 1996-1999.
The 1991 report of the ANZIAM Secretary
(Summerfield, 1991)
is inconclusive as to whether the Sydney branch organised
any activities in 1990. The only mention of any branch activity
in the report is
the announcement that
The outgoing executive approved the formation of a new branch of the
Division... the ACT branch.
The 1992 report of the ANZIAM Secretary (Summerfield, 1992) is inconclusive as to whether the Sydney branch organised any activities in 1991.
The general meeting and the first executive committee meeting noted that there had been considerable activity in the branches during 1991... Neville de Mestre commended to the membership the miniconference the Queensland Branch held at Mt Tamborie, over a weekend.
The 1993 report of the ANZIAM Secretary (Summerfield, 1993) is inconclusive as to whether the Sydney branch organised any activities.
Over 1992 there was considerable activity in the branches of the Division, with the ACT branch holding three minutes and the Queensland branch also being involved in three.
The 1994 report of the ANZIAM Secretary (Summerfield, 1994) indicates that the Sydney branch organised two activities in 1993.
As in 1992, in 1993 there was considerable activity in the branches of ANZIAM: the Victorian, Sydney, Queensland and ACT branches each organised two activities, of varying nature and duration.
The 1995 report of the ANZIAM Secretary (Summerfield, 1995) is inconclusive as to whether the Sydney branch organised any activities in 1995.
As in 1993, in 1994 there was considerable activity in the branches of ANZIAM; the Victorian, Queensland and ACT branches each organised two activities, of varying nature and duration. The New Zealand branch held its main activity during the 1994 New Zealand Mathematics Colloquium.
The 1996 report of the ANZIAM Secretary (Summerfield, 1996) is inconclusive as to whether the Sydney branch organised any activities in 1995.
The Treasurer recommended that ANZIAM could maintain its present level of support for its Branches, Special Interest Groups and February Conference, without increasing fees for next year.
As in 1994, in 1995 there was considerable activity in ANZIAM Branches and SIGS. The Victorian Branch hosted another very successful student conference, and provided assistance to CTAC-95, directed by Alan Easton for CMG; the Australian Mathematical Society Gazette will feature a report on CTAC 95. This branch has set up its own page on the internet WWW. The ACT Branch followed the lead given by the Victoria Branch, hosting their own student meeting. The Queensland Branch held a very successful, but financial draining, annual mini conference on the Gold Cost, and three meetings in conjunction with the Queensland Association of Mathematics Teachers. The New Zealand Branch held its own main activity during the 1995 New Zealand Mathematics Colloquium; Ernie Tuck was the ANZIAM speaker.
There was no activity in the Sydney Branch in 1999.
At the ANZIAM AGM in 2000 Charlie Macaskill stated that
he had taken on board the advice that a `Careers Evening' type event
should be arranged and a website set up
(Minutes, 2000)
1.
He also suggested that the name of
the branch be amended to the NSW Branch sometime in the future.

Martin Bunder let me borrow his collection of issues of the Australian Mathematical Society Gazette: 7 (1980) to 26 (1999).
There is a large amount of missing information about the activities of the NSW ANZIAM branch in the 1990s. It is very unlikely that it will be possible to track this down. It is possible that pertinent information might be formed in the minutes of the ANZIAM AGM. However, it appears that ANZIAM has made no attempt to keep minutes of its AGMs.

This shows the sources that I have used to write part three of this series. (Not necessarily very accurate, as I don't always remember to update things).
A detailed reading of the Gazette might reveal more information about the branch. Due to lack of time I have not examined each issue in detail.
