Troubleshooting BMC configuration problems

If you are having difficulty configuring the BMC, you should verify that the IP configuration is correct.

Steps

1. Verify the BMC is online and the IP configuration is correct by entering the following command at the storage system prompt: bmc status
2. If the BMC is configured using DHCP, reconfigure the BMC using a static IP address by entering the following command at the storage system prompt: bmc setup
