Configuring and changing the timeout period

You can change the timeout period for Telnet sessions. By default, Telnet sessions have timeout periods of 60 minutes.

Step

1. Enter the following command: options autologout.telnet.timeout minutes

   minutes is the length of the timeout period.

   The range of minutes is 1 to 35,791. The maximum number is equal to approximately 596 hours, or slightly less than 25 days.
