Running deduplication outside the preset schedule

You might want to start deduplication outside the preset schedule, such as when your system is not busy, or when you want to test the impact of deduplication on a particular operation.

Step

1. Enter the following command:sis start path

   path is the complete path to the FlexVol volume. For example, /vol/vol1. See the sis(1) man pages for more information.
