The following examples show how to update the Snapshot copy on the secondary storage system.
systemB> snapvault update /vol/vol2/qtree3
SnapVault updates the qtree on the secondary storage system (systemB) with the data from a new Snapshot copy of the qtree it creates on the primary storage system (systemA). You do not have to specify where the primary storage system data is, because you already did so when you set up the SnapVault relationship using the snapvault start command.
To update qtree3 on the secondary storage system (systemB) with a particular Snapshot copy of qtree3 on the primary storage system (systemA), you would use the -s option to specify the Snapshot copy on the primary storage system, as in the following example.
systemB> snapvault update -s my_snap systemB:/vol/vol0/qtree3
