Limit on entries in the snapmirror.conf file for each storage system

The limit on the number of entries for each storage system in the /etc/snapmirror.conf file is 1,024. Entries beyond this limit are ignored and the storage system console displays a warning message.

If you have an active/active configuration, the limit on the number of entries applies to the storage system pair combination. The limit on entries is shared between the two storage systems in the active/active configuration. For example, in an active/active configuration, if one storage system is using 480 entries, the other storage system will have 544 entries available for its use.

Note: This limitation is different from the maximum number of concurrent replications you can have on a storage system.
