The data backed up to
SnapVault secondary storage is mirrored to a unit configured as a
SnapMirror partner, or destination. If the secondary
storage system
fails, the data mirrored to the
SnapMirror destination can be converted to a secondary
storage system
and used to continue the
SnapVault backup operation with minimum disruption.
