Enabling or disabling Data ONTAP's built-in HTTP server

To enable or disable Data ONTAP's built-in HTTP server, you can set the httpd.enable option to on or off, respectively. By default, this option is off.

If you want HTTP to be... Then...

Enabled Enter the following command: options httpd.enable on

Disabled Enter the following command: options httpd.enable off

If you want HTTP to be...	Then...
Enabled	Enter the following command: `options httpd.enable on`
Disabled	Enter the following command: `options httpd.enable off`

After You Finish

If you purchased an HTTP license, web browsers can access all of the files in the HTTP server's root directory; otherwise, web browsers can access the man pages and FilerView only.
