Title: Security Properties of Cryptographic Protocols in RFID Abstract: RFID systems provide a convenient way to identify RFID tagged objects from a distance in an open environment without visual contact (c.f. barcodes). The biggest challenge is to provide such benefits to RFID users and yet their privacy will not be threatened. Because of the nature of RFID technologies, RFID tagged objects response to authorized and even malicious RFID readers. Many researchers have proposed protocols that aimed to preserve privacy. There are a lot of security properties that come alone with these proposed protocols, which provide security to RFID systems in different means. However, among these various security properties, different researchers have their own definition and some properties may actually imply the others. This talk gives a picture of most of the security properties in RFID protocols to see how are they related to each other.
