Dec 17, 2009 2:59 AMA good mix of research findings, demonstration and hands on time. An opportunity to see how other teachers and using their IWBs in classrooms. Lunch boxes were a great idea to speed up the lunch break.

Dec 17, 2009 3:02 AMThe format was fine. There was a useful sharing of hands-on and lecture-based actrivities. Obviously, I was told more than my mind can handle...but hopefully it'll came flooding back when I have a play in the holidays.....hopefully!!!!
Dec 17, 2009 3:02 AMteachers with little or no experience on interactive whiteboards really need a longer period of instruction time - we all need to spend more using the technolgy with a trained specialists
Dec 17, 2009 3:04 AMI was able to make up two games, learnt to use some of the tools and how to turn it on!
Dec 17, 2009 3:04 AMTwo day workshop with a week between to practice new concepts
Dec 17, 2009 3:05 AMGood to play around with program. good examples of where and when to use activities. I need a quiet place to create my own activities so not interested on making a whole activity on the day.
Dec 17, 2009 3:05 AMPresenters were excellent and very knowledgeable and covered all participant expectations. The overall organisation was very well done and facilities available were also very good. Found seeing classroom examples very interesting.
Dec 17, 2009 3:05 AMVery knowledgable staff Slow presentation down and possible have smaller groupsRub and reveal!!
Dec 17, 2009 3:06 AMGreat overview given, motivational cant wait to get a board but would like ongoing support once starting. Too much information for 1 day
Dec 17, 2009 3:06 AMbeing able to play with it all.

Dec 17, 2009 3:10 AMEnough spare computers for all participants Plenty of helpers Great venue Technology support to assist where needed All fantastic Suggestion: Join the dots ( pre-course ) for very slow learning teachers.
Dec 17, 2009 3:10 AMWorkshops were very helpful.
Dec 17, 2009 3:11 AMWhat has been shown and demonstrated has all been excellent but I think, for me there has been too much at once.

Dec 17, 2009 3:11 AMvery informative. Like plain food though!
Dec 17, 2009 3:13 AMSeeing an IWB in action was great as was working hands on. Having several trainers was also beneficial although smaller training groups may allow people who require more attention.
Dec 17, 2009 3:13 AMI found the whole day to be really inspiring but I think there was too much information to take in in one day- perhaps just having practice with a few basic skills first off. How about IWB skills build over a term as an after school course?
Dec 17, 2009 3:13 AMIt was better to hand out instructions/ course materials what is covered in this work shop.
Dec 17, 2009 3:13 AMJo Bonaz's passion for teaching and supportive approach in sharing her valuable strategies.
Dec 17, 2009 3:13 AMHands on
Dec 17, 2009 3:14 AMVery encouraging and opened up the possibilities for the classroom. Too much information and not enough time. One day a week per term would be great. Need basic steps to follow.
Dec 17, 2009 3:14 AMA great sharing and introductory experience.
Dec 17, 2009 3:14 AMJo was an excellent presenter. Her instructions were clear. I enjoyed learning more about use of the Notebook.

Dec 17, 2009 3:16 AMInspiring - I wish I could do it all now.
Dec 17, 2009 3:16 AMMore time required for hands on. Keynote speakers not required. Need to go straight to hands on and practical uses. Also examine on-line sites.
Dec 17, 2009 3:16 AMA great opportunity to consolidate learning as the teaching was explicit and well structured.
Dec 17, 2009 3:17 AMGreat use of varied teaching styles.

Dec 17, 2009 3:36 AMPresenters were excellent, especially Judith - so very helpful, patient and willing to explain everything. great day
Jan 10, 2010 3:42 AMI found the whole lot interesting. I needed more time in the hands on session ie waiting to get computer working then waiting for help when stuck with activity. Perhaps smaller groups would have been much better.
