Criminology | 2020

Overview

This major provides students with a broad suite of skills to identify, interpret and evaluate issues around crime, deviancy and justice from a social sciences perspective. Specific units are tailored to develop students' conceptual understanding of criminology and apply these to a range of topics of contemporary social concern.

Subjects Required for Major Study

A major in Criminology requires the successful completion of at least 48 credit points of subjects in accordance with the table below. The table illustrates the recommended progression for a Bachelor of Social Science student proceeding full time.
