Overview
All educators require an understanding of how people learn, how to implement effective learning experiences, and technologies to support the learning process. They also need a comprehensive knowledge of and respect for diversity amongst learners. This course prepares you for a range of careers in any context where the principles and approaches of teaching and learning can be applied. This degree does not provide a qualification for teaching in Australian primary schools or high schools.
Entry Requirements & Credit Arrangements
This is an exit-only qualification for students enrolled in the Bachelor of Primary Education, Bachelor of Health and Physical Education, Bachelor of Science Education or the Bachelor of Mathematics Education.

Course Structure
The Bachelor of Education Studies requires the successful completion of 144 credit points in accordance with the progression table below.
A minimum of 24 credit points at 300 level or higher must be included in this degree.
No more than 60 credit points will be completed at 100 level.
