Overview

This course is one of a number of online short courses available to students between July and December 2020 to support school leavers and workers looking to up-skill or future-proof their careers.

Each course comprises four subjects that impart new skills and knowledge that can be applied to existing or future job roles, or as a basis for further study towards a UOW undergraduate or postgraduate degree. This course is aligned to the Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences (1830) and the Bachelor of Nutrition Science (1869). You will receive full credit towards either of those degrees on completion of this course.

Studying Medical and Health Science at UOW puts you on a career path where you can have a direct, positive influence on the wellbeing of others. The skills you will learn in the Undergraduate Certificate in Medical and Health Science are in demand across a range of careers. You will study four subjects including Anatomy and Biology to gain a foundation in the sciences which underpin a career in within the medical research and clinical health fields. After successfully completing the Undergraduate Certificate you can transfer with credit  to the Bachelor of Medical and Health Sciences (1830) or the Bachelor of Nutrition Science (1869).
