Overview

This course is one of a number of online short courses available to students between July and December 2020 to support school leavers and workers looking to up-skill or future-proof their careers.
Each course comprises four subjects that impart new skills and knowledge that can be applied to existing or future job roles, or as a basis for further study towards a UOW undergraduate or postgraduate degree. This course is aligned to the Bachelor of Social Science and you will receive full credit towards the degree on completion of this course.

The subjects within this Undergraduate Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety have been developed in conjunction with industry to allow you to confidently address the complex nature of occupational health and safety issues in the workplace. UOW’s Work Health and Safety scholars are leaders in their field from a range of professional backgrounds, including allied health, engineering, occupational hygiene and risk management.
