Overview

This course is one of a number of online short courses available to students between July and December 2020 to support school leavers and workers looking to up-skill or future-proof their careers.
Each course comprises four subjects that impart new skills and knowledge that can be applied to existing or future job roles, or as a basis for further study towards a UOW undergraduate or postgraduate degree. This course is aligned to the Bachelor of Public Health and you will receive full credit towards the degree on completion of this course.

Study a course that will empower you to shape the future of health in populations. You will gain invaluable knowledge about key issues affecting the health of people in different populations and understand how you can analyse, review and generate solutions to problems that currently exist. You may wish to focus on social epidemiology, food and society or health promotion.  The federal government’s 2020 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) ranked UOW second in Australia and number one NSW/ACT for Health Services and Support.
