Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Nursing is a short, focused, clinically-based course with academic and industry relevance. It is designed to allow professional development to occur in tandem with academic rigour.
Candidates may exit following completion of the required subjects, having acquired advanced knowledge in their chosen fields and having been prepared for advanced practice.
The Graduate Certificate in Nursing is also available to applicants who are enrolled through the Federal Government Scheme in the short and focused online course program. This initiative is introduced only for 6 months from May 2020. The short courses will run from July 2020 to December 2020. This initiative provides upskilling opportunities to those who are unemployed as well as pathways into a number of degree programs. Applicants should follow the course structure and rules that are specifically designed for this cohort. Check the course structure and course rules below before enrolling in subjects.

Course Structure
To qualify for award of the degree, the Graduate Certificate in Nursing, a candidate must successfully complete at least 24 credit points in accordance with the table listed below.
Note, International students in Australia on a student visa who are studying onshore cannot enrol in more than 33% of their total course by distance as per ESOS legislation.
