Marketing Communication and Advertising Major | 2018

This major is available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Communication and Media.

The Marketing Communication and Advertising major will enable students to develop skills in the delivery of coordinated messages about products and services through various channels, such as television, radio, social media and experiential activities. Students will learn how to research, plan, execute and manage marketing campaigns and acquire skills in issue management, communications technology, product publicity, crisis communication, and media relations. This major prepares graduates for careers in advertising, public relations and corporate branding.

Minor Study

Students cannot complete both a major and a minor in Marketing Communication and Advertising.

Undertaking a work integrated learning (WIL) experience during your university education is now a significant contributor to being competitive in securing employment in your field of choice when you graduate from UOW.
