Overview
The Master of Education (Educational Leadership) is for people who are currently in educational leadership roles or who wish to pursue educational leadership positions in a wide range of organisations including schools, private educational industry, training providers, government and educational policy related fields.
This program offers subjects that explore a range of educational leadership issues including mentorship, people management, curriculum leadership and change management.
Course Structure
The MEd (Educational Leadership) requires:
- The successful completion of 72 credit points comprising:
- 5 core subjects (30cp). EDGZ921 must be completed within the first 36 credit points and EDGL941 be completed in the final session of the degree;
- 5 subjects (30cp) selected from the Educational Leadership specialisation; and
- 2 electives (12cp) selected from any Master of Education specialisation.
- No more than 4 subjects (24cp) will be at 800 level.
