Overview
The Master of Science and Management is a two-year degree comprising four preparatory subjects focusing on practical skills, laboratory work, and science communication skills; a Specialisation area of study; plus an additional four Management subjects.
Candidates who hold appropriate qualifications and laboratory skills may be awarded advanced standing for the four preparatory subjects.
Specialisations include; Biotechnology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Environmental Biology and Medicinal Chemistry.

Course Learning OutcomeS
Students graduating from the Master of Science and Management will be able to:
- Exercise critical thinking and judgement about recent developments in the discipline of science as well as management concepts.
- Consolidate and synthesise knowledge of research principles and methods pertinent to science practice.
- Investigate, analyse and synthesise information, problems, concepts and theories.
- Apply knowledge and skills to plan and execute research-based initiative/s.
- Design, apply, generate and evaluate theories, methodologies and concepts for professional practice or scholarship.
- Exercise critical thinking and reflection.
- Justify, interpret and communicate propositions, methodologies and conclusions.
