Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Health and Physical Education is designed as a bridging program to update knowledge in relation to Adolescent Health and Practical Studies for domestic and international students. It will also provide an avenue for professional development of practicing teachers.

Course Learning Outcomes
Students graduating from the Graduate Certificate in Health and Physical Education will have:
- Specialised knowledge of contemporary issues in the area of adolescent physical and health education.
- Cognitive skills to analyse and provide effective solutions to a range of behavioural and educational situations encountered in professional practice.
- Specialised skills in relevant movement techniques, teaching/coaching practices and the identification of adolescent risk-taking behaviours.
- Communication skills to transmit knowledge, skills and ideas in the area of adolescent health and physical education to a variety of audiences in teaching and coaching field.
- Ability to apply knowledge and skills to demonstrate autonomy, adaptability and responsibility in the promotion, planning and implementation of health and physical activity programs to a range of learners across their lifespan.
