course description
This degree program consists entirely of an end-on year honours year for LLB students. The Laws Honours program aims to provide a legal education which equips students with a critical and questioning attitude, offers a broad perspective and provides the foundation for a career in an extensive range of legal work. This program enables students to apply this knowledge in the context of a major legal research project.

Course structure
Students who enrol in the Bachelor of Laws Honours by Research must complete the subject LLB448 Research Honours in Law (48 credit points).
The Honours grade will be calculated in accordance with Method 1 in the University's General Course Rules (8.37), ie. based entirely on performance in 400 level subjects.
