The Graduate Diploma in Science is a one-year program for students who wish to upgrade their qualifications and gain further background in Science where entry to a Masters degree is not appropriate.

Subjects can be selected from the Schools of Biological Sciences, Chemistry, and Earth and Environmental Sciences.

Students should discuss their program of study with an academic adviser prior to enrolment.

Course structure

Candidates select subjects to the value of 48 credit points from the Undergraduate Science Schedule of subjects and must seek approval from the relevant Head of School, who may also specify other required subjects.
