Course Description
The Graduate Certificate in Practice Nursing is designed for registered nurses working within general practice.
You will study the sociological, economic and political aspects of general practice, as well as foster best practice principles in relation to clinical nursing practice within the general practice context.
The program has been developed in association with divisions of general practice and practice nurses both nationally and internationally and has a strong emphasis on clinical skills development and decision-making within general practice.
It involves a mix of on-line teaching and learning, study days and on-site clinical learning.
Registered Nurses will need to arrange an association with a General Practice whereby they will be able to undertake 32 hours of clinical practice per month for the duration of the course.
Study days maybe available at the Shoalhaven campus, dependent upon demand.
