Health Administration

Overview

The major in Health Administration is an ideal first degree for those interested in a career that enhances the health of the community, with core areas of study including planning and managing a health program or project; understanding the health of populations; skills in obtaining, reviewing and analysing health information and health promotion. The Health Administration major provides knowledge and skill in the organisational processes and practice of complex health service and health policy/monitoring organisations. Job opportunities include program administrator for health projects, local team manager in local councils and government.
