Overview
This double degree enables students to undertake comprehensive majors in both Science and Arts.
Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge
Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) of 80 (or equivalent). The ATAR is reviewed each year.
Assumed Knowledge
Any two units of English plus Mathematics and any two units of science. Students who have not completed Biology and/or Chemistry and/or Physics (for the Physics major) at the HSC are strongly recommended to enrol in bridging courses offered in February each year. Students without at least HSC Mathematics Band 4 (or equivalent) are required to take a Mathematics subject (usually MATH151) in the first year.

Students must consult advisors from all relevant faculties about selecting majors.
Course Requirements
The required 216 credit points taken over at least 4 years shall include:
1. 90 credit points of subjects from the Bachelor of Science including a major study chosen from Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Geology, Geosciences, Human Geography, Physical Geography or Bachelor of Science (Physics) for Physics.
2. 90 credit points of subjects from the Bachelor of Arts degree, including the subjects prescribed for one of the majors within the degree.
3. not more than 96 credit points for 100-level subjects.
Honours
Students who complete the double degree with the required academic standard in the relevant major are eligible for entry into either Bachelor of Science Honours or Bachelor of Arts Honours.
