Overview
The Dean's Scholar Program is designed for high achieving students to complete the Bachelor of Creative Arts degree with a number of benefits.
• A textbook/materials allowance
• Access to an academic mentor
• Access to postgraduate events, seminars and workshops, where appropriate
• Extended internet quota
• Extended library access
• Opportunity for internships and/ or self-directed study/ special projects
To qualify for the award of Dean's Scholar, students must complete the course requirements specified for the Bachelor of Creative Arts. Dean's Scholars must also maintain an average of 75% in each year of study to remain in the program. If the student's average falls below 75%, the student will be transferred into the Bachelor of Creative Arts degree.
Entry Requirements
Admission to the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dean's Scholar) degree is based on the HSC ATAR (or equivalent). A minimum ATAR of 90.00 is required. Applicants may also be asked to attend an on-campus interview.
Credit Transfer
The Faculty offers credit transfers to students who have successfully completed relevant courses at accredited universities and colleges. Students seeking credit transfer are advised to contact the Faculty or UniAdvice for further details and refer to the General Course Rules.
Course Requirements
The course requirements for the Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dean's Scholar) are the same as for the Bachelor of Creative Arts, with the additional criterion that students must maintain an average of 75% in each year of study to remain in the program.
