Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Technology Engineering provides a pathway into the Coursework Masters Program for students who have an undergraduate background that is not specifically in computer, electrical or telecommunications engineering.
Students will have the opportunity to gain generic skills and knowledge in the areas of:
- Database Systems
- Digital Hardware
- Power Engineering
- Communications
- Internet Engineering
Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge
A Bachelor degree in Engineering, Physics, IT or a related area, equivalent to a three year Australian tertiary qualification.
Course Requirements
Students are required to satisfactorily complete a selection of eight subjects (48 credit points), as approved by the Head of School or delegate.
The chosen program of study will be based on the student's undergraduate background and relevant work experience, and will be selected from a range of first, second and third year subjects offered in the Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical, Computer or Telecommunications) program or degrees offered by other Schools in the Faculty of Informatics.
