Overview

The Master of Information Systems degree specialising in Information Systems provides graduates with the opportunity to study advanced topics in information systems and to undertake a research project in one of the areas of research interest in the Information Systems Discipline. The program aims to both deepen and broaden the knowledge and skills of students in systems development methodologies, systems management, electronic commerce and a selected area of Information Systems research.

Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge

A degree equivalent to a three-year Australian Bachelor degree, with a 60% average, in an area related to Information and Communication Technology (eg Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science).

Course Requirements

The degree requires the satisfactory completion of 900 level subjects to the value of at least 48 credit points (see below). Consisting of:

    a) Five (5) core subjects (36 credit points)

    b) Two (2) subjects (12 credit points) selected from Graduate Subject List.
