Master of Laws (International and Comparative)

Overview

This program is designed to introduce students from a range of different countries and legal systems to the principles of international and comparative law. Students may also study and research various aspects of natural resources law, commercial law and the Anglo-American system of common law as it is practised in Australia.

Options cater to students from civil law and common law countries and those who do not use English as their language of first choice.

Entry Requirements / Assumed Knowledge

An undergraduate degree in law from a recognised institution, or recognised overseas equivalent.

Course Requirements

Students complete 48 credit points, comprising compulsory subjects, research essay and other subjects chosen to complement the student’s background and interests.
