Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Business provides a pathway degree for those applicants who do not meet the direct entry requirements of a number of Masters degrees offered by the Sydney Business School.

Course Structure
Candidates are required to complete a total of four (4) subjects (24 credit points). Students who are completing the Graduate Certificate as a standalone degree or intend to progress to any of the specialist Masters or the Master of Business Administration should complete the subjects as listed below. Those who intend to progress to the Master of Financial Management should complete ECON802 in place of OPS 802.
Note BUS800 is a zero credit point subject that needs to be completed by all students. However, domestic and international students may apply for an exemption from BUS800 by making an application to the Head of Students.

- * Domestic and International students may apply for an exemption from BUS800 by making an application to the Head of Students.
- **ECON802 is compulsory for students articulating to a Master of Financial Management specialisation otherwise students can select to complete OPS802 Operations Management.

Other Information
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business, students may apply to progress to either the Master of Business, Master of Business Analytics, Master of Financial Management, Master of Human Resources Management, Master of International Business, Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Master of Management, Master of Marketing, Master of Project Management or Master of Supply Chain Management. These students will receive 24 cps specified credit for subjects completed within the Graduate Certificate in Business.
Students may also apply to enrol in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree and may be granted credit for 12 cps of MBA elective subjects. Note: entry to the MBA is dependent upon meeting the MBA work experience entry requirement.
