Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Dementia Care is a clinically-based program that prepares practitioners for advanced professional practice in the specialist field of dementia. As a student you will use work-based learning to enhance client care and service delivery in the multi-disciplinary environment.
Subjects are available via distance or flexible delivery, i.e. web-based self-learning plus 2-3 days on campus.
The Graduate Certificate in Dementia Care is also available to applicants who are enrolled through the Federal Government Scheme in the short and focused online course program. This initiative is introduced only for 6 months from May 2020. The short courses will run from July 2020 to December 2020. This initiative provides upskilling opportunities to those who are unemployed as well as pathways into a number of degree programs. For more information refer to Course Finder.
