Overview
Information systems support essential activities in every business and government in the world; they are integral to organisations success. A Bachelor of Business Information Systems (BBIS) degree provides the knowledge and skills to design, develop and integrate information systems to support a client's business needs and to achieve a competitive edge in the global marketplace. A BBIS degree covers the whole of the system's lifecycle: from requirements-gathering and design and coding to testing and implementation, seen from a business perspective.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students graduating from the Bachelor of Business Information Systems will be able to:

The Faculty encourages the development of ICT skills and knowledge in the workplace through industry placement. Completion of ISIT200 Industry Placement, which is a minimum of a single 8-week period of approved industry placement, assessed in the form of written reports is highly recommended to all students to complete this placement.
